Conxemar 2023 drew together 26,736 buyers and suppliers from 110 countries in a new historic edition

• The event, held at Vigo’s Exhibition Enclosure (Ifevi), attracted 26,736 visitors and 767 exhibitors, 13.1% more than the previous year.
• 45 countries took part, with Tanzania, Uganda, Kenya and the United Arab Emirates attending for the first time; and Mauritania, Turkey, Greece and the Netherlands attending for the first time as a country pavilion.

The 24th Conxemar International Frozen Seafood Products Exhibition closed this Thursday with a record edition. It has been three days of intense activity at Vigo’s Exhibition Enclosure (Ifevi), with a total of 26,736 visitors, 3% more than the 2022 edition, hailing from 110 countries. In addition to Spain, the top 5 visitor countries were Portugal, Italy, France, Argentina and Morocco.

This year, the Exhibition had the participation of 767 exhibitors – 13.1% more – thanks to the optimisation of spaces, which added 1,300 square metres more exhibition space than the previous year. The event drew together institutions and suppliers from 45 countries, with Tanzania, Uganda, Kenya and the United Arab Emirates as new additions, and Mauritania, Turkey, Greece and the Netherlands attending for the first time as a country pavilion.

New edition in 2024

The Conxemar Exhibition will be held once again at Vigo’s Exhibition Enclosure (Ifevi) on 1st, 2nd and 3rd October 2024, with the challenge of continuing to offer the best services to exhibitors and visitors. The 2024 edition will have special relevance: it will be the 25th anniversary of this event, which is a meeting point for the seafood processing and marketing industry.
