Carmen Sánchez holds a PhD in Agricultural Engineering and a degree in Food Science and Technology from the Universitat Politècnica de València, an Executive MBA from Estema Business School and a General Management Program (PDG) from IESE Business School.
Currently, Carmen Sánchez is the Technical Director of ITENE, in which she has developed her professional career towards the management of research teams and projects, as well as in the direction and management of companies, especially the development strategy of the research center itself. She has an experience of more than 20 years in the management of R&D&I projects aimed at increasing the competitiveness of companies through innovation in packaging. Carmen Sánchez leads the Technical Secretariat of the Spanish Packaging Technology Platform (PACKNET) and is the Coordinator of Group 1 of the Technical Committee for Standardization CTN49 – Packaging.
