Velvet swimcrab

Marine decapod crustacean. Wide caparace, with about 8-10 small teeth between the eyes. The first pair of legs finish in strong pincers. The caparace and the legs are covered with an abundant hair that gives them a velvety appearance. Brown color; legs and pincers with zones without hair, blue, and red joints; red eye peduncles. It measures up to 8 cm.
