Marine decapod crustacean. Invertebrate, with exoskeleton and bilateral symmetry. Rostrum with up to 13 teeth at the dorsal border. Body and tail laterally compressed. Greenish gray or yellowish color, with discontinuous brown transverse spots on the carapace and abdomen.
