Red porgy

Elongated and laterally compressed features a large head and a terminal mouth housing sharp conical teeth. The coloration of this fish varies, displaying hues ranging from red to pink, with a lighter belly. Its dorsal fin is singular and extends along the back, while the anal fin is shorter. The pectoral fins are moderately long, and the pelvic fins are situated on the lower part of the body. Additionally, it exhibits a well-defined lateral line.
