Cephalopod mollusc with a rounded body and a large, flexible mantle that allows it to change shape and texture to camouflage itself with its surroundings. Its eight tentacles are long and flexible, each with two rows of suckers for grasping objects and catching prey. Its large eyes provide excellent underwater vision. Its mantle is mainly white, with patterns of spots or stripes that can vary in shade and distribution. This camouflage ability and agility make it an expert hunter.
