Family Pleuronectidae

Flat fish of oval body. Both eyes on the right side of the head. The most distinctive feature is the lateral line, which exhibits a sharp curve above the pectoral fin. It is a brownish or grayish yellowish color. Small clear and dark spots and even yellowish or orange, more or less visible. It measures up to 40 cm.
