Family Sepiidae

Marine cephalopod mollusc with an oblong mantle. Long and slender tentacular club. Hectocotolized left ventral arm with 3 rows of normal sized suction cups, 5 or 6 rows of small suction cups and normal size suction cups at the end. Color: light brown. The arms 1 and 3 have a longitudinal orange-red pigmented fringe along their aboral surfaces.
