Blue mussel

Marine bivalve mollusc, with the shell formed by 2 similar valves of smooth edges, in the form of an irregular triangle, wider than high, and can measure up to 10 cm. It lives seized to rocks by means of the byssus filaments. The exterior color is bluish and pearly inside.
