Blue ling

It displays a robust and fusiform body, reaching lengths of up to a meter. Its head is large and wide, with a terminal mouth equipped with conical and sharp teeth, ideal features for the efficient capture of prey in the rocky environment it inhabits. The eyes are relatively large, surpassing the snout length in diameter, and are located on the dorsal part of the head. Its coloration varies, showcasing tones ranging from grey to brown, with darker spots and patterns providing camouflage among the marine rock formations. The skin may have a rough and spiny texture, adapted to protect the fish from its rocky surroundings.
