Arabian red shrimp
Marine decapod crustacean that has a glabrous integument (hairless cover) and polished body. The eyes are big. Rostrum is long and thin with 3 strong teeth on the dorsal side. The antennal flagellum is very long. The first 3 pairs of thoracic legs (pereopods) end in pincers with long, slender fingers. The last two pairs of legs (fourth and fifth pereopods) are slender and monodactyls. Telson with 4 pairs of moving spines and shorter than the inner uropods. Uropods have the thick end. Color: red. Maximum total length 150 mm.
