Marine fish with cartilaginous skeleton. The anterior part of the body is flattened and rajiform, with a wide and sooth head, and a short and rounded snout. Wide mouth with small teeth with wide base and triangular tip. Wing-shaped pectoral fins. Back of sandy colour and whitish belly.
