Yobana Bermúdez
Conxemar General Director.
Yobana Bermúdez is the General Director of Conxemar, the Spanish Association of Wholesalers, Importers, Exporters, and Processors of Fishery and Aquaculture Products. She currently holds the presidency of the MAC (Market Advisory Council) and CEP (European Federation of National Organizations of Importers and Exporters of Fish), both European bodies based in Brussels.
Graduate in Biology from USC, she has more than 20 years of experience in the food industry, including processing, food safety, consulting, and auditing in three different countries: Spain, Ireland, and the United Kingdom.
Additionally, she worked for more than 10 years in the seafood processing industry and has experience in the areas of canned, fresh, frozen, smoked, and ready-to-eat products.
Since her appointment as General Director of Conxemar, she has led the implementation of the association’s first strategic plan with a 2026 horizon, to address the challenges in the seafood processing and commercialization sector.
