Rosa Federica Grassi
Member of the Board of Directors and of the technical-scientific committee of ASSOITTICA
She has a Masters in Maritime Law and Economics from the University of Pescara and she is specialized in International Business Development Processes. Since 2006, she has been responsible for international trade and quality control of L’Equipaggio Snc, an import-export frozen seafood product company.
She is a member of the Board of Directors and of the Technical-Scientific Committee of the Italian National Association of Seafood Companies (ASSOITTICA).
She has collaborated with the University of Chieti-Pescara, the University of Teramo and the Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Crafts and Agriculture of Pescara (Italy) as a seminar tutor on the ‘Common Fisheries Policy in the European and global context’.
She is a consultant with Nisea Soc Coop arl, a research cooperative specialized in the socio-economic study and research initiatives on fisheries and aquaculture.
She is currently working on a ‘fishing for litter’ project named ‘Catch & Clean’.
She is also Project Manager of the ‘Survey on the Role of Women in the Italian Seafood Industry – focus on the post-primary production’ as per FAO’s request to Assoittica.
Last May, she was honored to receive the ‘Artemide’ award from the Italian Coast Guard for her work in seafood chain and fisheries studies.
