Dave Love, PhD, MSPH is an environmental scientist and microbiologist working in the fisheries and aquaculture sectors.

His appreciation of aquatic food began at a young age as part of a family-owned commercial oyster farm in the Chesapeake Bay, USA. His current interests lie in researching and communicating science related to food systems, food safety, ecosystem health, and antimicrobial resistance. He has published 80 peer-reviewed papers. His work has been featured in the BBC, New York Times, and other news outlets.
