Andrés Iñiguez
President of the Spanish Heart Foundation.
Dr. Andrés Iñiguez is a Doctor in Medicine and Surgery, Specialist in Cardiology, head of the Cardiology Department at the Álvaro Cunqueiro University Hospital in Vigo. He holds a Diploma in Clinical Services Management and a Master’s Degree in Senior Healthcare Management. He has more than 500 scientific contributions including articles, communications to national and international congresses and editing of books and chapters. He is a member of the European Society of Cardiology, the Latin American Society of Interventional Cardiology, the American College of Cardiology, and Honorary Member of numerous scientific societies in Latin America. He was president of the Spanish Society of Cardiology from 2015-2017. He is currently the president of the Spanish Heart Foundation.
