Marine decapod crustacean. Nearly cylindrical body with long and thick tail. Long thoracic legs; pairs 1st and 4th don´t end in pincers but in a sharp nail. Color: violet or reddish brown, with 2 light spots on each segment. It can measure up to 50 cm.
