Responsibility for the Future
The 12th edition of the Conxemar FAO International Congress will once again bring together prominent figures from the sector in 2024 to analyze the current challenges and opportunities in the processing and marketing of seafood products, as well as their commitment to sustainability.
The central theme this year is the SOFIA 2024 Report – Sustainable Development Goals: Responsibility for the Future.
International experts participating in the roundtables will address various topics, including the global context of fishing and aquaculture and the sustainable management of fishery resources.
This event, established as one of the key dates in the sector, is co-organized by Conxemar (the Spanish Association of Wholesalers, Importers, Exporters, and Processors of Fishery and Aquaculture Products) and FAO (the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations).

10:00-10:30We will start the congress by addressing the key points of the SOFIA report, GAP Analysis between the SOFIA 2022 and 2024 reports, the global situation, and scenarios with:
