Bigeye tuna

Marine fish with regularly ossified skeleton. Body somewhat chubby. Very similar to tuna, the latter has pectoral fins and larger eyes. Dark blue on dorsum with violet sides. Yellow longitudinal band on the flanks. It can measure up to 2 m.
